These are very hard guitars to find, built in Decatur Illinois by Jen-Co this Decar guitar is a cool piece. The guitar is simular in size to a Harmony Stratotone, it has a maple fingerboard and one neck pickup with a volume and tone. The body is covered in a funky fake wood countertop material, and the neck has a big fat profile. The original stackpole pots date the guitar to 1959 and the electronics are all original. At some point the tuners were either replaced or just flipped upside down as there is a extra hole above the tuner plates on the back of the headstock. The pickguard also has some damage around the jack, but it still mounted solidly. Action is on the higher side, but the guitar is still playable. I have just restrung the guitar with 10-46 Ernie Ball strings. Serial number on neck plate is G102.
