This is an almost mint condition Gibson Derek Trucks Signature SG Electric Guitar. It was used but very lightly. It does not show any signs of use or wear perhaps only the occasional surface swirls around pick guard area. This SG has been professionally setup. The person that did the setup has personally done pro-setups for famous guitarists Eric Johnson. The guitar was setup with 11's. The guitar is set up with a nice action and the feel of this guitar with it's '60's "D" profile is fantastic. No wear on frets, clean sounding electronics, no buzz, straight neck. No issues. Case looks mint condition as well. Both guitar and case still have that clean new smell. The '57 Classic Alnico II pickups have a great tone with good output. The guitar is equipped with an ABR-1 "No Wire" bridge, stop tailpiece, a decorative Lyre tailpiece and vintage style Kluson Deluxe tuners. A truly fine instrument. Includes the original Gibson hard shell case. Made in the USA. Whether ripping mind-boggling slide playing with the Allman Brothers Band, or creating his own unique style of music with his own Derek Trucks Band, Derek Trucks has easily established himself as one of the guitarists at the forefront of modern guitar playing. Trucks has worked with Gibson to create his own signature SG, a recreation of the instrument which he has modded himself and played on stages around the world. 
The Derek Trucks SG is modeled after the 1961 SG, with a "true D" neck profile, rosewood fretboard, 12" fretboard radius, and two '57 Classic humbuckers. The guitar has a decorative Lyre tailpiece where the vibrato has been removed and replaced with a no-wire ABR-1 bridge, and the SG also has 500k potentiometers for both volume and tone controls, installed at Trucks' request. It's a killer signature SG with classic looks that can do everything from Blues to Modern Rock, and everything in between.
