Up for Auction is my Beautiful Gibson Kalamaxoo KG11, the guitar has been fully renovated and plays as new with loads of saddle height and an amazing gibson Vintage V neck . The neck has been reset and new saddle fitted. The shorter body puts the bridge lower down the body allowing the sound to resonate, a combination of 70 year old wood and the ladder bracing gives this guitar such a personalityBuilt during the Great Depression, the tone is a perfect match for the country blues of that era. Raspy with a quick decay and a haunting voice, percussive for alternating bass, and lively for solos. This rare KG 11 has everything you need in one elegant 00 size guitar. Acknowledged by both players and collectors as one of the very best finger picking blues guitars ever made! The ladder braced KG-11 was one of the best ideas Gibson ever had.Only some minor well repaired hairlines on the front by the pickguard and below the saddle but otherwise crack free Some honest play wear and scratches otherwise a very clean example. with plenty of that Gibson sunburst Mojo!!
