Classic 1999 “Big Apple” Stratocaster. Original dual Seymour Duncan humbuckers: Pearly Gates Plus in the bridge and '59 in the neck. An original Fender Hot Rod series.This is a One-Owner guitar, all original and 100% complete. I bought it new in 1999 and have played it sparingly at home only occasionally since then (too many guitars). A great and pristine find.The 5-way switch combined with the dual-coil humbuckers provides a broad tonal range: - Neck position is the ‘59 humbucker with a smooth tone perfect for blues or jazz. - Next position is the outside coil of the neck humbucker split for traditional Strat neck pickup tones. - Middle position is neck and bridge humbuckers combined as on a Les Paul. - Next position is neck and bridge inside coils split for that Telecaster sound. - Bridge position is the full-on Pearly Gates Plus humbucker, which sounds like a hot ’59 with a bit more bite. Serial number N8334175, manufactured in Fender’s Corona, California shop. “Fat Finger” added to the headstock for additional sustain (easily removable).CONDITION: Excellent.
