This auction is for an ultra rare 130 year old antique CONN & DUPONT #910 cornet, made in Elkhart, IND. This cornet was made during the two years that Conn & Dupont were a company (1877 - 1879). This fantastic cornet is in very good condition for age. It comes with four mouthpieces, a sheet music stand and the mouthpiece extension, as seen in photos. It comes with the original walnut case. The cornet measures approx. 14"  from bell to the end of the mouthpiece. There are obviously a few dents and wear on the silver finish as is expected for a cornet of this age. Please view all photos as they are part of the description. Valves move freely with no stiffness. Marked on the bell "910, Sup. Class, Made by CONN & DUPONT, ELKHART, IND.". Also marked "910" on the middle valve as seen in photos. I am not an expert on cornets and do not play them at all so I cannot give any warranties on this piece. It is sold AS IS. This is a very rare and extremely hard to find cornet and you may never see one of these again! It is a part of musical history and is an awesome find for any collector or musician! If you have any questions or concerns please message me before bidding or buying. Thanks for looking!
