If you are seriously thinking about a vintage quality professional saxophone, then you need to take a very close look at this horn. The look (the pictures do not do it justice. The silver is white and in very good condition.), the feel, and the sound produced is awesome. And the price?!? You cannot buy a new alto saxophone of this quality today for three to four times this price. This horn is over 90 years old and will last for another 90. I have a restored 1930 Buescher True Tone Tenor sax that is my player horn and I love it for all of the above reasons. It is my main go to horn. This 1926 Buescher True Tone Alto Sax has been professionally cleaned, polished, and overhauled including; leveling tone holes, new pads, snap in resonators, felt, cork, regulation. It has a light, smooth touch, blows freely, and plays well (it’s a screamer!).
It is an awesome vintage Buescher True Tone Alto Sax and is in excellent condition. It has a noticeable spot on the neck where the silver plate has been worn off as well as the right thumb hold. One of the bell keys has some marks on it. See pictures. Mouthpiece and cap, ligature, and original case included. The neck has a number 1 stamped on it. The case is way above average.
