VINTAGE LATE 50'S EARLY 60'S GRETSCH CLIPPER!Clipper is missing some parts that should be easy to find.Pickguard is missing (most of the hardware for pickguard is on the guitar).Pickup is missing (probably had a P90 dog ear). One volume/tone knob is missing. The capacitor between volume and tone pots had broken off...I looked into it and the capacitor is still available. There is also enough wire between the two to solder a capacitor on.Guitar is well worn which to me means it had been well played...not a guitar someone put in a closet and forgot about...(Guitars are meant to be played...and in my opinion a well played guitar is a treasure)I had used this guitar for sometime acoustically and It played great!*One further note: The pics of the rear of the headstock looks as if there is a crack that does not quite go full through...It had been there since I acquired the guitar...While it may have been a crack once forming...whatever somebody did in the past to halt the progress or fill a crack starting (most likely a professional), is incredibly strong...one would have to be extremely strong and rough to even get it to budge! (What is this miracle substance and where can I find some)
