IBANEZ S870FM ATF Beautiful, excellent condition. Plays like butter, sounds like a cannon (in a good way).
This was a Japanese/ European only model, a step above the S770pb. I personally ordered it from a shop in Japan last year.
The neck is in perfect condition. The body has a few extremely small marks that were impossible to photograph. All the hardware is in awesome shape, the p'up rings are slightly tarnished, but still look good.
The electronics are slightly modified. The stock pickups have been replaced with modified Ibanez V7-S1-V8 with a magnet swap between the two humbuckers. That clears up the muddiness of the V8, and gives the V7 slightly less bite. I personally love this combo in all the mahogany S-series.
The tone pot has been removed, the volume moved to the lower position, and a custom plug I machined is used to cover the hole.
I also machined a custom brass, fully adjustable tremolo stop-block. Its removable, if you want the full function of the trem. Hard case, trem arm, stock pickups, and tone pot are all included.
