This auction is for a Yamaha YTS-23 Tenor Saxophone in great condition. This instrument is widely considered the best instrument to learn the saxophone on and is a high-quality student instrument. These instruments new sell for over $2000. We have adjusted this instrument and replaced worn pads as necessary. Cosmetically, this instrument is overall in great condition. There are a few scratches in the lacquer. The bell edge is slightly bend back and there are a few smaller dings around the instrument from wear over the years, but neither issue affects the playability of the instrument. We have overhauled this instrument, replaced several worn pads and regulated it to play perfectly. The case is in good condition, but the pleather covering is loose in a couple places, but that is only cosmetic. It is very functional. See the photos below for a better idea of its condition. That said, this instrument is a fine musical instrument and plays effortlessly. It has a mellow, powerful sounds that you won't find on lower quality instruments.
