This is a Gibson Custom Shop Pat Martino guitar in absolutely pristine condition -absolutely indistinguishable from new. The setup is impeccable. This is a wonderful, life-changing instrument. I've had too many guitars to try to count over my 40 years as a touring pro player, film music composer, artist development producer, and Gibson artist , but I've only said that about two guitars- the Pat Martino and the Gibson ES-446. They both have the identical body style, size, and shape. The '446 has a solid spruce top, and is a pure hollowbody, whereas the Pat Martino is a semi-hollowbody . The'446 is , IMO , Gibson's greatest, most versatile, and musical hollow body, and the Pat Martino is Gibson's most exquisite semi-hollowbody ever..The Pat Martino's are all beautifully designed and magnificent sounding, feeling and playing guitars. and this is the nicest one of a half dozen I've had pass through my studio and under my hands. It has a spectacularly-flamed maple top, a hollowed mahogany body offering greater sustain , resonance, and feedback resistance, and is distinctly lighter in weight than conventional solid bodies, and this Pat Martino feels particularly "alive" under your hands, and it stands out as being deliciously sensitive to the slightest playing nuances, making it a dream to play. The contoured 'snakehead' style peghead permits straight string pull across the nut, (which really does give the guitar an extremely "buttery" and smooth string tension) and the deep cutaway allows full access to the compound radius 22 fret fingerboard. This is a joy to play. I wish I could afford to keep it. I can't imagine any guitarist not falling in love with this guitar.
• This guitar comes with its original hardshell Gibson Custom Shop Case. • My seller's feedback is perfect, and contains an abundance of love, affection, gratitude , and respect. That is because that is what I put out with the wonderful , carefully-picked and always impeccably musical instruments that I sell. I count on my buyers to be more than "satisfied". . If you're not absolutely thrilled with this guitar I will take it back no questions asked and give you an instant refund minus shipping.•
