This is a beautiful Ovation Eclipse semi-hollow body in amazing, all original condition. There are a couple of minor nicks but are undetectable as they do not go through the finish. The Hofner 513 pickups work perfectly and have incredible tone. These pickups were only put on the first 200 of these guitars. Only 900 of these were ever made in total. The volume and tone knobs work with no crackle and the pickup selector switch works perfectly. The adjustable bolt on neck is straight and the intonation is correct. There is light fretwear, but the frets still have plenty of life in them. It is in amazing condition for being 47 years old. The lyrachord finish has protected it well and makes this guitar intriguing and beautiful! This is a rare vintage guitar that is ready to play! The Ovation Eclipse very rarely comes up for sale, but a decent example will bring more than $1000, so I have made my opening bid very fair.
