This is the classic Teletronix LA-2A. Certainly one of the best and at least most popular compressors ever made. I bought it in New York about 13 years ago. I believe this is a REV2 model produced in the early 1970's. I had it serviced last year by Vincent Gutman of MARC Inc. in Woodstock, NY. He replaced a few caps and put in a new optical module and brought everything back to factory specs. I plugged it in and tested it and it's working perfectly.
