special order Vega long neck with Lifton hard case and original, very rare keyK&K pick-up installed...twin pick-up pads not attatched to underside of the head but original box with instructions and 2 sided tape included...takes 30 secondsLong Hollow tool leather strap...Schaller pegs with 2 extra in case...Kirschner t/peasily the nicest Lifton case I've ever seen...sized for an 11" potthe banjo neck is gloss finished and the maple is figured...upgraded maple neck wood.banjo has all nylon strings installed. I do not use a wound string ...I will restring back to steel strings if buyer wishes but you should hear it first, me thinks...Shubb 5th string capo works well with nylon strings. The stretching of nylon strings makes the 5th string sharpen up with the Shubb capo...pretty normal. By lifting the 5th string off the peg and leaving it set on the fret at base of the peg, it goes flat...engagement of the capo brings it right up to pitch...works great... Diameter of the harp strings is: .028, .036, .040, .045, .028... banjo is loud with the harp strings and they last a long time. the set on the banjo has been on it for 2 years with no signs of wear or degradation in the sound.if the nylon strings are not your cup of tea, just throw them away...steel strings can go back on it in minutes. I just put the info out there for potential buyersstraight neck...custom ordered and very rare...no fret wear...this is a beautiful, light weight banjoshipping days are Wednesday am, Saturday, Monday and Tuesday
