This is a Custom Shop build (has the Wolfgang stop tail setup instead of the standard HP setup). It has a beautiful carved quilt maple top. It was Peavey's replacement for the Wolfgang when they parted ways with EVH. This guitar improves on the shortcomings of the Wolfgang but retained the amazing oiled maple neck with the asymmetrical back carve and flat 15" fretboard radius.
This guitar HAS BEEN recolored and the headstock has been stripped to match the beautiful Birdseye maple fretboard. This color is a one-of-a-kind color not seen on any other HP, with a subtle burst. The pickups have been upgraded to a Duncan Custom Custom in the bridge and a Duncan Jazz in the neck. Volume pot has been changed to a non-coil splitting version. But I will include the original coil splitting Volume pot. Tuners are upgraded to real Sperzels with fake ivory buttons, but I'll thrown in the original chrome buttons as well. No HS case but guitar will be packaged very securely and insured. Serial number will be provided upon request if it's not visible in the pic. A very nice guitar, nice weight and balance.
