A n early sixties model, needs refurbishing , hence no strings , , the main body of the guitar is in excellant condition for age ,all the correct fitments are there including a bigsby with a patent number D169 120,theiris a small piece of cream binding missing of one edge , you hardly notice it, some belt rash on back of body, their is some trauma to the neck , but has been fixed with an aluminium plate , there is one machine nut missing off the head the Nut's are deluxe X Cluson it has its original hard case its in relitivly good condition for early sixty years old and all it's clasps are there and work , the case has the usual blue fur fabric interior and is in very I good order, overall an excellant buy of an excellent cupboard find, of a desireably, Martin GT-70 electric hollow bodyguitar, I have more pictures if needed. I will fit 5 new strings , on 24 February to see how the guitar sounds, Guitar , will need return spring for bigsby arm , adjuster nuts for bridge,truss rod ajusted, as guitar strings are not ringing out properly , I don't have a truss rod adjuster Key, and possibly pick ups serviced , I fitted only two strings because they will have to be removed again, no serious expensive repair, The serial number of the guitar GT-70 214377! It can be read on the inside with a torch, as well as the Martin stamp ! As the guitar did not sell I have ordered some parts for it and will be fitted , if it plays well I may decide to keep it , but at the moment it is on the market the guitar has to make a small amount more than the last offer or it will not sold ,,and perhaps used as a functioning musical instrument,
