A true vintage player in great condition for its age! A 1979 Gibson Les Paul standard in ebony w/original case. Its all original except for the seymour duncan hot rod set, one plastic pickup ring and the tuners. All upgraded for the better. I do not have original pickups but the original pots and caps are in place giving it that LP mojo! The 79 was the last year of the solid slab bodies so yeah its a heavy one, but definitely is worth it for the great tone this baby drips out! It is stamped "second" which means there was a finishing flaw from the factory (which gibson doesnt do anymore, making it semi-rare), but for the life of me i cant see any flaws. Probably wouldnt show on black anyways. NO cracks or neck repairs EVER. I gig and record with this guitar all the time, so shes dependable and plays like a dream. You will be most happy. No international and NO Hawaii or alaska.
