This Gibson is what the company does that I admire so much. Innovation and quality. What the original, Orville Gibson made his name on and continues to today. Always modifying, tweaking and inventing in search of building a better guitar. This SG3 is a wonderful result of that endeavor. The single coil blade pickups are unique in sound and performance. The design reason is for the prevention of fade when bending notes. It works. The six position switch provides for a multitude of sonic choices. The fireburst finish is a visual knock out.The guitar itself shows only minor signs of wear. The hard case is in great shape also and was purchased by me for this instrument because along the way to my collection the original case and guitar were separated.Please study the photos provided of the exact guitar you will receive. If you wish additional specific photos or have questions please ask.My collection has grown to fill two large rooms and if I am going to be able to buy more and upgrade I must let some go.
