Up for sale is a hard to find vintage Clavia Nord Lead 1 in exceptional condition. Built like a tank in Sweden, this was a studio piece and not a live gigging synth so it is remarkably nice for its age. This is the original Nord Lead, the one sought after by many synth heads for its crazy, dense, raw, attitude filled fizzy sound. Later Nords sounded more restrained, polite, and refined, but the NL1 cuts through a mix like a samurai with a distinct in your face sound. Features a wooden pitch bender and stone modulation wheel. All knobs and buttons work as expected and there are no issues with this Nord. This is the voice expanded model. The one cosmetic defect is a small sticker back on the bottom that I am sure could be removed but that I never bothered with since it was not visible. I pack very securely and have no negative feedback so you can buy with confidence!
