I bought this guitar in 1964 from a guy who wanted drums instead. I did not intend to ever sell it but my fingers do not work well now so it sits. I use to have several oval shaped jewels glued to the guitar body. The Fender decal on the top of the guitar neck is missing an oval shape piece where the glue was (picture 8). The glue did not stick well (at all) so there are no glue marks on the body. The skull is a water based decal. I have never tried to remove it. There are also two pieces of decorative tape (yellow) across the body. My only defense is that it was the 60's and I thought it looked good at the time it was done. I did not want to take it apart to show the insides but the insides are all the original 1964 stuff and if it matters to the buyer I can have someone dismantle it for pictures. I still try to play the guitar sometimes. It sounds great. I wish I did. The amount I am asking exceeds Paypal 10,000 limit so I will need payment in full by cashiers check before shipping.
