Designed with the professional horn player in mind and fully endorsed by Stagliano, the 1942 6D model is the predecessor of the Conn 28D. I purchased this horn from Houghton Horns two years ago.  I call it my Hollywood horn as I was told it had been played in Hollywood studios back in the day!  It plays beautifully with focused pitch and rich tone color in all ranges.   The valves and slides are clean and have good compression.  There are minor scratches but no big dents or dings.  Additionally, I'm not sure of the origin, but there is a scar on the outside of the bell as pictured.  It was there when I purchased it.  It is cosmetic and doesn't affect play.  Not significant to me as I have a couple of scars, too.  The valves are adorned with 1942 Mercury dimes.  This is a true Elkhart classic ready to be played and/or added to your collection as a backup. Included is the vintage, original case. Asking $2700 which is what I paid for it, but will consider best offer. No mouthpiece included.   Signature required at delivery.

It is important to me that you buy with confidence and enjoy this vintage American classic!   Feel free to message me with any questions.  Thank you for looking!
