2002 Taylor 714ce. This is a beautiful and unique version of the popular Taylor classic. Unusual 3-piece back is rare and reminds me of my old Martin D35. Also, the cedar top has an interesting inclusion in the upper bout (see close-up photo). This is NOT damage or a flaw but a an interesting and unique feature of the wood (similar to spalting in maple) that makes this guitar one of a kind. Has the older Fishman electronics with both a microphone and under saddle pickup with adjustable blending. Legendary Taylor action and slightly wider neck make this guitar a delight for the fingerstyle player. Includes original Taylor HSC and a spare set of Elixir Nanoweb Custom Light (.011-.052) strings.
