Up for sale is a Custom EBMM Axis BFR (Ball Family Reserve). It was custom ordered with a full rosewood neck. The Quilted Black Burst looks great. The Axis was custom modded to change the Floyd Rose locking tremolo to a Vintage style Floyd Rose. No body alterations or modifications were done to make this change. The locking nut was removed and replaced with a standard nut, and the shelf for the locking nut was filled and blended with a piece of rosewood. The standard tuners on the Axis were replaced with Schaller locking tuners that lock from the top like PRS style tuners.You will also noticed in the pics, some have a black pick guard and some don't. There was a black pick guard trimmed in white custom made like the older vintage Axis. This pick guard is held on with small pieces of double sided tape to keep it in place, or you can remove with no damage or holes in the body. It really gives the Axis a completely different look with or without it. The case is the nice BFR case, not the standard plastic molded case. The guitar is in very good condition, there are no nicks or scratches to mention, it looks new.Basically this is a fantastic EBMM Axis BFR with Custom full rosewood neck that was modded to a vintage style tremolo like a EBMM Axis Super Sport. It plays very good and the tremolo plays and acts just like an Axis Super Sport. If you ever wanted the great rockin power of the Axis and the standard humbucker configuration but never liked the locking tremolos this guitar is for you. Don't miss out on getting a Custom BFR Axis at the price of a normal Axis, or Axis Super Sport. I would consider trades for a Luke III HH, I just seem to prefer playing my Luke and would like to get an HH model to go with my HSS. Will ship to the connected 48 states and ship packed well and fully insured.
