Completely restored/reconditioned, overall in very good condition. I played this instrument in the 60's professionally (see photo of VINYL record albums with Epic Records 60's folk group, The GoldeBriars). Neck is hard maple (light amber finish) with ebony fingerboard. The 5-ply maple pot and nickel rims are original. New Remo head, new compensated bridge. The action is excellent and plays well with minimal fret wear. It has a sliding 5th string capo. The peghead has been refinished and there are new Grover 18:1 peghead tuners that match the originals and the 5th string tuner is original Grover. The tailpiece is a new hinged Pruscha. The armrest is new as are all J brackets and hex nuts. There are some minor nicks in the heel and some minor oxidation on areas of the nickel rims. A new, TKL hardshell heavily-padded case is included. I'll also include a new Paige Clik capo, a set of Pearse strings, a banjo wrench - and if you want them - the old head and bridge (you may want the "old look" that's on the album cover!). I will pack everything in a pro shipping box. Free shipping via Fedex Ground within lower 48. Pete, Dave Guard and John Stewart would love this one. I know I did. My banjo playing days are over.
