SRV Charley Tribute Stratocaster. Custom-built in 2015. A nice, high-quality and faithful example of Stevie Ray Vaughan's famous stratocaster, Charley. It was originally built by Charley Wirz at Charley's Guitar Shop in Dallas, TX.Though the guitar has been played minimally, this has been more of a piece of art to display. So, it's almost like getting a new guitar. Custom built by a luthier in Pennsylvania. You don't see many replicas for sale and not ones that are quite as accurate as this one.Has a Wildwood alder body, finished in pearl white paint. Neck is new old stock Musikraft with rosewood fingerboard. Neck has medium frets, nice soft C feel,10" radius, vintage Kluson tuners. Matching headstock pretty correct with the original. Body is finished in a good acrylic pearl white finish, with the Hula Girl clearcoated as well for protection. A hardtail model, just like the original. Fender brand bridge with chrome saddles. One volume and one tone, with a five-way switch. Fitted with GFS high output lipstick single coil pickups. I requested them because they sound better than the cheap Danelectro lipstick pickups being made today. The output and clarity on this matched set is just incredible. I have a set of these in another strat I own. Weighs about 7 1/2 lbs. Looks, feels, sounds and plays absolutely incredible! I haven't had to do one thing since I got it. She's ready to play. A very nice build and nice guitar to add to your collection or actually PLAY! A lot of time and money went into building this one.I was going to keep this one. But I'm selling off a few high-end items to do something nice for my parents, as they are getting old. They're more important than this guitar. That's the only way I would let go of this one. I purposely didn't buy a case with it, as I already had a good case for it. So, it will come in a good hardshell case. Please contact with any questions. I am trying to sell this rather quickly. Or I might pull this guitar off the seller's block and come up with another plan. I could so easily keep it.Only selling this one in the lower 48 U.S. states. Thanks!
