Howdy, I build guitars for fun and this is one that i've decided to sell on (i can't keep them all, i try to keep my collection at 3 guitars max). This particular build was based around a vintage 50's stratocaster with my own twist of Shell Pink over sunburst finish, which is rare to find in a 50's style strat. All the work is professionally carried out and finished to a high quality by either myself or other builders/luthiers. WHATS INCLUDED: - Swamp Ash Body. Finished in Aged Nitro, 'Shell Pink Over Sunburst'. Built & Finished/Aged by 'MJT Aged Guitars USA' in Carthage, Missouri. - Handmade Canadian 'Birdseye' Maple 1-Piece Neck. Made by a Luthier and shipped over. (No Skunk Stripe), nice 60's C-Shape profile, Med-Jumbo 22 Frets (Frets & Truss Rod in 100% 'unused' condition), 9.5" Radius, Nice & Smooth 'Worn in' satin feel, Finished in vintage-tint Nitro. - Naturally Aged Kulson Vintage Tuners and String Tree. Option for 1 or 2 String Trees for modern or classic look. - Custom Wiring Harness by 'Mojo Pickups UK'. No-Load Tone Pots for Neck & Middle, Switchcraft Switch & Jack, CTS/Emmerson 250k Pots, Custom Mojo 0.47 Cap, Hardwired & Professionally Assembled. (Reason for no-load pots is to push the high-end of 50's style pickups which tend to be a little softer than 60's styles which makes for much more versatility). - Naturally Aged Pickup Covers, Control Knobs, 3-ply '64 Pickguard.- All Metal Hardware and Fixings (Bridge, Jack Plate, Neck Plate, Tremolo, NOS Screws ect). - Also Includes A Fender Stratocaster Hardcase for secure shipping as well as for your personal use. - Also includes a fresh set of D'addario Strings (Medium Guage 11's).Basically everything needed for a kickass stratocaster, simply add your own choice of pickups and you're good to go! I prefer to let people choose their own pickups as i feel finding the right pickups is almost as personal as the instrument itself!I'd recommend a set of Seymour Antiquity Texas Hots with this guitar.
