1966 Fender Jaguar in Candy Apple Red Zum Verkauf steht eine zu 100% originale, unverbastelte 1966er Fender Jaguar in Candy Apple Red. Mit Matching Headstock und den raren und gefragten Spezifikationen der „Transitional“ Ära: Sowohl die Potis als auch der Hals sind auf 1965 datiert, letzterer weist mit der dots/binding-Kombination eine Konfiguration auf, die nur für eine sehr kurze Dauer von Fender produziert wurde. Besonders hervorzuheben sind das wunderschöne, sehr dunkle und perfekt mit dem Finish harmonierende Griffbrett sowie die unvergleichliche Optik der über ein halbes Jahrhundert stilvoll gealterten, nur leicht gefadeten und von feinen Haarrissen durchzogenen, leuchtend tiefroten Lackierung. Der Fender Custom Shop versucht, diesen Zustand künstlich herzustellen und bezeichnet das Ergebnis als „Relic“. Diese Jaguar hat den unverwechselbaren Charme einer Fender Gitarre aus den guten alten Zeiten, auch technisch ist das Instrument in einem hervorragenden Zustand. Die Elektronik funktioniert einwandfrei, der Hals ist gerade und der Halsspannstab intakt. Die Gitarre ist perfekt eingestellt, sehr gut spielbar und sie klingt phänomenal – klassischer, klarer und schimmernder Fendersound mit dem jaguar-typischen, durch die kürzere Mensur und das Floating-Tremolo-System beeinflussten, luftigen, warmen und weichen Timbre. Die Liste berühmter Jaguar-Spieler ist lang, wer sich für diese Gitarre interessiert hat seine persönlichen Helden vermutlich bereits gefunden. Dennoch möchte ich an dieser Stelle auf den „Under The Bridge“-Gitarrensound verweisen, hier wird der typische Jaguarsound ganz ohne Surf-Hall und Grunge/Indie-distortion wunderschön in Szene gesetzt... Der abgebildete Koffer gehört nicht zum Lieferumfang; das Instrument wird in einem passenden Hardshell-Case versendet. Die Gitarre kann gerne in Köln angetestet werden... International biddersThis is a 1966 Fender Jaguar in Candy Apple Red in excellent condition. The instrument is all original just as it came out of the factory in 1966 – down to the last screw and including the original finish with the typical white and gold undercoat. It has untouched solder joints, this guitar has never been messed around with! The Potis date to 1965, so does the neck (stamped 1 OCT 65 B). The latter sports a wonderfully beautiful, dark fretboard with the rare bound/dots-configuration, which only was available during the “transitional phase”, when Fender was taken over from CBS. This instrument has been played, but never abused. It sports that slightly weather-checked finish and charming patina that the Fender Custom Shop tries to replicate, calling it „relic“. The Candy Apple Red finish has faded only very slightly; this guitar really makes clear why Candy Apple Red was Leo Fenders favourite color: its deep and iridescend red just can not be described in words. It is radiating! This guitar plays great and sounds just awesome - classic Jaguar sound, very versatile, sparkling, transparent, full and warm at the same time. The shorter scale in combination with the floating tremolo-system gives it the airy and soft appeal, that no other electric guitar has to offer. You will fall in love with it! Technically the instrument is in flawless condition. All electronics work great. Neck is straight, truss rod works correctly, action is low. The pictured case is not part of the deal, instead the guitar comes with a fitting, newer hardshell case. The instrument can be tested in Cologne, Germany.
