OMI (Original Musical Instruments) squareneck Dobro guitar from the 1970's. OMI made original Dobro brand instruments before Gibson bought the name. Upgraded with Quarterman cone and ebony tipped bridge inserts. This improved the tone and sustain dramatically. Countryman IsoMax hypercardioid condenser mic installed on the underside of the top cover, terminated to the XLR on the butt of the guitar. It sounds pretty good and natural. This was my 1st guitar, used on hundreds of gigs and recordings. It was replaced by a Scheerhorn when I got better. Haven't played it in years and someone needs to get some use out of it. With this guitar, you can own a vintage American made instrument for about the same price as a Chinese import reso. Comes with a solid hardshell case, Shubb dobro capo, leather strap and two sets of Elixir reso strings.Stickers came on the guitar when I bought it. I never played it at church.... :-) Photos are of the actual guitar you'll be purchasing, so look at the high resolution pictures carefully. Unit will be bubble wrapped and packed in a proper, sturdy box for shipment. Shipping cost listed is for the lower 48 United States only. Shipping cost includes insurance, BTW. I will quote freight to all other buyers prior to shipping, then will send an invoice with the unit cost + freight. You will pay the total amount via PayPal, and I'll ship. I ship via FedEx Ground, insured, signature required. For international shipping, I use FedEx International Economy or Priority (your choice), signature required, insured. I sell too much stuff overseas and can't afford to be in trouble with the government in any country.
