A very fine French certified violin bow made by Claude Thomassin ca. 1905. Claude Thomassin was one of the finest French bow makers of 20th century. His bows being favorite and well appreciated by many professional musicians worldwide.
The stick is red brown pernambuco, octagonal, quite strong with a nice flexibility, good balance and a fine level, very beautiful sound. The length of the stick is 73.1 cm and the weight is 58 g. The bow is in a very fine state of preservation.
