Firstly, 12 pictures is no where near enough to show this beautiful vintage gem, if you would like to see more, please message me, and I will send you some more, OR, come see it & try it?. Beautiful Vintage 1958 Gretsch `Double Anniversary` Archtop Guitar, in the `Sunburst` finish. Made in Brooklyn, New York, USA. **Genuine 1958 (from early in the 1st, and ONLY batch of 100 Sunburst `Double Anniversarys` actually made in late 1958 (from the 290XXX Batch), and with the 1958 ONLY `Tall post` `Space control` or `Roller` Bridge.**  The 1958 & 1959 models of these Guitars, are known as `A poor Mans 6120`,.... because, besides having no binding along the neck, around the headstock, or around the `f` holes, they were made exactly the same, with ALL the same materials, and features (with the exception of a B6 Bigsby Tailpiece), but, you add that, and,.....  **Gretsch down graded the Anniversary models at the start of 1960, to make them more of the `Mid range` model that they were originally intended to be, as they were becoming too expensive to keep producing with the `High end` features, for the price they were selling them for.**It has the `New for 1958` `Tressle` bracing, it has the PAF (Patent Applied For) New for `58 `Filtertron` Pick-ups, it has the same controls, and configuration as the 6120, It has the chrome `Waverly` tuning keys, & Gold Lucite Pick guard. This came from the private collection of a professional, Vintage Guitar dealer, and was professionally set up. It has very light `checking` to the finish, 2 tiny marks, and 1 small finish chip on the front. There`s a small finish chip on the top edge between the upper & lower bouts, the back of the guitar has around a dozen marks/ scratches, with only half of those being `heavy`. The Neck is clean, hardly any wear at all, the neck joint is solid, and original, the Headstock has a small scuff to the tip at the back, and one on a lower edge, and 2 tiny finish chips on the back. It is solid Clean `New for 1958` `Neo-Classic`, or `Thumbnail` Fingerboard, minimal Fret wear., Chrome screw down Strap buttons, chrome knurled `G` arrow control knobs. This one has been fitted with an old, Genuine Bigsby B6 Vibrato Tailpiece, and also has the original Chrome `G` cutout `Fixed` Tailpiece included. I have fitted it with an ORIGINAL 1959 `Short post` adjustable `Roller` Bridge, (the Tall post bridges proved to be a little awkward on the ball of the hand, so were quickly replaced by the `Short post` version). Its Original `Tall post` bridge is included. Also included, (for posterity) are the fragments of the original Filtertron pick up Bezels,..... these were smooth, and very thin, hardly any, if any, of these have ever survived, and are normally replaced by the only alternative available, the `Ribbed` `59 onwards style. This one has the aftermarket `59 type, in Gold, but I am also including a pair of `Silver` aftermarket `59 type Bezels. The Headstock `Anniversary Model` plaque with Diamond motif, is in lovely clean condition.1 of the tuning keys has a very slight bend, but, I am ALSO including 2 ORIGINAL, complete, replacement tuning keys, as spares, 1 for the Bass side, & 1 for the Treble side.  The Filtertron `PAF` pick-up chrome covers are in lovely condition. and the Picxk-ups themselves are in full working order, producing a beautiful tone, on anything from Chet Atkins style to Jimmy Page and so on. It comes complete with its Original Grey `Flex` `Eco-line` (Economy) case, made for Gretsch by the `Ess & Ess` Manufacturing company in Brooklyn, New York. The case has wear to the outside, lots of light scuffing, some areas of the material covering have lifted, but could be re-glued, covering has worn away around the edge of the Headstock end, top & bottom, but not horrendous!. Latches are all complete, and working, all the inner material `Holding tags` that hold the lid up, and in place, and are all strong, the main longer strap at the the back end of the lid, has some fraying in the center. The Accessory compartment ribbon was missing, so this has been replaced with a piece of thinner ribbon. The Redish Brown padded interior lining of the case is still in lovely, clean, and complete condition. And the case handle is still firmly attached, and complete. I will also include a complete set of 6 Reproduction, `59 `Case candy` cards, including the Green `OK`, `Quality control` card, (All but 1 of these cards, the `Zero Fret` card, are relevant to this Guitar). This is a Collector Guitar, so genuine, serious enquiries only please. Much appreciated. Please ask any questions, I will get back to you asap, and IF you would like to come and view it?, I`m sure something can be arranged.  *** Shipping quotes can be obtained on request, if required ***  *** I HAVE PUT A FIGURE UP IN THE POSTAGE BOX AT THE TOP OF THIS PAGE, PURELY AS IT IS REQUIRED TO HAVE A NUMBER IN THERE, this figure maybe accurate??, but it may not??, please ignore it for now.***  *** IF the Guitar should sell for the BIN price, Tracked shipping will be FREE (UK INLAND ONLY)*** Thankyou.
