1966 Guild F-20 Parlor Size Acoustic Guitar
Estimated price for orientation: 675 $
Category: Acoustic Guitars
Class:
Description Exact Year: 1966 Body Type: Parlor Brand: Guild
1967 guild F – 20 parlor size acoustic guitar. I believe this guitar to be a 1966 or 1967. The serial number is AG – 1217. This is a great playing, great sounding a little guitar. Action is perfect. Plays beautifully up and down the neck. Sounds great. Every time someone picks up this guitar they can't put it down because it's so fun to play and so light and small. This was built in Hoboken New Jersey by guild in the 1960s. It's very similar to a Martin 0-18. From the information I found on the Internet it has a solid mahogany back and sides, spruce top, and Rosewood fretboard and bridge. This guitar has obviously seen some playing time over the years, and there are imperfections and such in the finish, but it needs nothing to be a great player for years to come. I don't know the history of the guitar or if any repairs or refinishes were done in the past, all I know is it has been a wonderful performer for me for the last few years. When the weather gets drier there appears to be a couple small hairline cracks in the back of the guitar. It has never presented any issues for me and I can't even seem to photograph it well. If you would like to talk about the guitar over the phone please give me a call. 415-680-0794. Thanks again for looking. Please ask any questions you may have before bidding.
