This is an RG520QSTB from 2000. It has a mahogany body with a quilted sapele veneer. It's the TB (Transparent Blue) finish. This guitar has seen its fair share of playing and has clear coat scratches to show for it. They're mostly on the back, probably mostly from buckle rash and such. Otherwise it's in great shape for being a 17 year old guitar. The wiring was mostly disconnected when I got it and I had to get a V8 bridge pickup for it. The tone knob is wired so it works backwards which is odd but I didn't want to mess with it. Comes with the tremolo arm and an Ibanez HSC. After cleaning it up and getting it back into working condition, I've decided that I just have too many Ibanez guitars to justify keeping it. I know it will serve whoever it goes to next as a solid guitar that you can always rely on. A mahogany body on a Japanese RG is relatively rare and you can definitely tell the difference in tonal character.
