What makes this guitar special: A real rock n roll beast & a true road warrior. you can see it was pllayed, this was someone's favorite guitar, as evidenced by the care showm. The DeArmond humbuckers sound fantastic & deliver rich, dynamic tones. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds great! Cosmetic Condition: 50 years of useso displays normal wear & tear - various player's tells a little buckle rash, minor weather checking & finish wear. Look at thepics - It is still an awesome looking guitar Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with nicely aged cream bind & black side-dots. Beautiful Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Original frets show some light wear, but have plenty of life in them. Mother of pearl Chesterfield & Guild headstock inlays. Nickel tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition. Body: Semi-hollow mahogany body with dual F-holes. 3-ply binding on the top & back. Black plexi 'stairstep' pickguard shows little pick wear, but no cracks. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 11.1 oz. Pickups: Original DeArmond humbuckers with black bezels. Bridge - 6.63K ohms; Neck - 6.65K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with original Guild knobs; 3-way toggle switch. Jack plate is unoriginal.
