Introduced in 1999 at a price of $1190, guitar replaced the Japanese-made Collectable Series 50's Reissue Strat. Alder body in 2-tone sunburst finish. "Soft V" maple neck with Fender/Ping vintage style tuning heads. Fender pick-ups, pots, and switch. Original aged white single-ply 8-hole pickguard (included) was warped and replaced with a w-b-w 3-ply with 11 screw holes. A new black pickguard is also included. Original Fender tremolo bridge (included) has been replaced with a Super Vee BladeRunner trem bridge. Also included is a new Callaham Vintage trem bridge, never used. Each bridge has its own bar and springs. Guitar will be shipped in the tweed hard case with red "poodle" plush interior (shown.) A new, never-used Fender gig bag is included along with a new set of Ernie Ball "Slinky" strings. Guitar, case, and everything else is in pristine condition. Absolutely no dings, scuffs, scratches, etc. Guitar has rarely been out of the case. Current cost of extra items is about $600.. Everything will be shipped (FedEx) in one large box and insured.
