LG1's are one of my favourite Gibson models - proof that you can get a 60's Gibson acoustic for under £1500. This example is a beauty, with a wonderfully aged cherry sunburst top and vivid red tortoiseshell pickguard. Tonally it has a bluesy tone, with a rich bass but well balanced through the mids and trebles. It works perfectly for fingerstyle play, with plenty of grit when soloing, and resonant enough to handle light strumming. The guitar is in very good condition, all original with a tightly repaired top crack. The guitar comes in a non original hard case.
