There are some spots on the binding that have yellowed. Nice natural finish on the arched spruce top, flame maple sides and bookmatched arched flame maple back. There is a lot of ebony on the guitar: from the fretboard, the knobs , the bridge and baseplate and the tailpiece.The guitar has a nice action and the thin "D" profiled maple neck with a bound ebony fretboard has a great feel. The frets are in good condition with some playwear and light grooving under the plain strings. The Schaller humbucking pickup has a good tone and output. The guitar has a high build quality and a great Jazzbox tone and feel.Comes with a hardshell case. Serial Number: 40701823Weight: 6 lbs. 7 oz.The Fender D'Aquisto Elite was part of Fender's rare foray to the archtop world - and the D'Aquistos were really something special. This Elite was a higher-end version of the standard, with specifications very similar to Gibson guitars - 24.75 scale length, set neck with 12" radius, jumbo frets, arched top and back, hollowbody and humbucking pickup. Designed by the legendary Jimmy D'Aquisto, these guitars don't come around often - which is no surprise considering how great they sound and play.Specifications
