Gibson SG, unique modified guitar! 2006 model with 'mbt' hard flight-case. Hipshot Trilogy de-tuning system fitted which give three separate tunings on each string at the flick of a lever. I currently have it set up for normal tuning, semi tone down for all those tunes in Eb and open G for slide, but the options are almost endless. Standard Gibson humbuckers and control system (3 way switch and volume and tone control for each p/u). Tailpice removed to allow fitting of Hipshot but threaded mounts are still in body should you want to return it to normal set up. The Kluson style tuners have been replaced with Gotoh ones as I find they work better with the de-tuner. Using the Gibson serial number dating: Made at the NashvillePlant, TN, USA on October 31st, 2006
Production Number: 38 This guitar is not mint, it is a workhorse and has been used a lot and as such shows lots of signs of real wear and tear, all cosmetic however, no cracks or any serious damage! It plays really well as you’d expect from a Gibson and comes complete with Allen keys for Hipshot and keys to lock the hard case. I’m selling because I’m a Tele man at heart (two of my tele’s have the same system fitted) and much as I like the guitar it’s not getting the use it deserves. Any questions or for more photo’s of the guitar please ask. Postage covers insurance cost but collection welcomed.
