Shipping: Canada $50.00, US $100.00. Overseas probably considerably higher. This will be pro packed for shipping probably by UPS so these shipping costs are ballpark. We will have to discuss shipping costs but they will obviously be kept as much in line as is possible safely, and should be close to what is listed here. Do not use the Ebay shipping calculator. A bid is your certification that you have done so. I only ship tracked packages. THE ITEM: This Akai AX 73 is in fine condition both cosmetically and functionally. Everything works exactly as it should, and there has never been any issue with it. this synth is built like an icebreaker. It is an all metal case, and indeed a heavy, solid beast.I have always been very impressed with the auto tune function of this six oscillator machine, and have never had any difficulty whatsoever with the calibration, despite the 100% analog nature of this synth. I also enjoy the broad selection of oscillator waveforms, which is greater than that found on the Roland Polys which were the closest competition to this synth back in the day.if you are looking at this listing, you don't have to be told about this vintage machine. All I have to add is that it behaves exactly as it is supposed to. The only flaw I have to report is a chipped underside to one of the keys. As can be seen n the photos, this is not visible normally, and I didn't know it was there for a long time. Has absolutely no effect on the operation or esthetic of this great vintage synth.Oh, the slider knobs are exact replacements professionally 3D printed from exact specs by Shapeways.Auction includes the synth, the original power cord, and a printout of the manual.Weight 33 lbs.POLICIES: I will ship to US and Canada at exact price. I do not make money off shipping fees, but try to get the best price for my customers. I don't charge handling or packaging fees either.
