What a great guitar! This is a 1999 PRS Swamp Ash Special with a 2-tone sunburst finish. It’s in excellent+ condition with no dings and very few scratches (see photo). The action is low with outstanding playability and almost no fret wear. Tonewise, it has two McCarty humbuckers and a Seymour Duncan Vintage Rails in the middle position. There is a 3-way toggle switch, master volume and a master tone with push-pull. This setup yields six useful tones including a few “out-of-phase” settings for strat-like cluck. The hardware has virtually no tarnish, and all parts and electronics appear to be original. The neck profile is a C-shape that’s slightly smaller than PRS’s wide-fat contour, 0.84” at the 1st fret and 0.95” at 13th fret. This guitar weighs 7 lbs 10 oz. and it’s very comfortable to play. If you’re looking for a versatile, great sounding and playing PRS at a great price, here’s your axe. The original heavy-duty PRS gig bag and the case candy pictured are also included.
