This is a very solid Hans Hoyer 6802A in an immaculate condition. This model is yellow brass with gold brass lead pipe, adjustable trigger pad, European tuning slide, and XL throat. This is practically a new horn with no signs of wear except few hair-thin scratches here and there. No dings, no dimples. Springs are tight and quick with very short lever action. Crooks are lubed and smooth. The horn has exceptional high register and produces sonorous timbre. All of the factory-supplied utensils and lubes are included. Leather hand guard is mounted on the horn. The original Hoyer B10 mouthpiece has been used: the lower portion of the shank's plating has normal wear; the rim and cup are pristine. The mouthpiece has a deep cup, but is well matched to the lead pipe taper as it produces deep vibration throughout the bell when hits lower pitches dead center. This horn is a great Hans Hoyer for an aspiring intermediate or professional player. Albeit it is somewhat on a heavier side of double horns, it is a solid, German-made instrument that will endure and keep its value. The backpack is awesome and provides enough space inside to carry a stopping mute. Outside, the back pocket is big enough to hold the straps and a 1/2" file folder. The backpack has a 2" rotor oil stain on its back, and few scratches on its seam rants. Here are technical details on this model from the factory:6802A : String mechanism, detachable bellKey : F/BbBore : .468"Bell : 12.204" hand-hammered extra-large (XL) throat, fixedValves : 4 conical rotory valves, string linkage systemFeatures : Gold brass leadpipe, yellow brass body, adjustable thumb leverFinish : Clear lacquerCase : Lightweight backpack-style caseAccessories : Additional main tuning slide for European tuning, mouthpiece, rotor oil, slide grease, torx/Alan wrenches, cleaning clothIndependent review of the model is available on the internet; just google "Hans Hoyer 6801 & 6802 Review"Please ask questions, and I'd be happy to answer what I know. Please make offers as you see fit.
