Up for sale is one lightly use Universal Audio 6176 preamp, DI, EQ, FET compressor channel strip. Hand made in the USA to exacting details, this piece is truly a work of art inside and out. Very high end, giving you Bill Putnam's 610 tube preamp and 1176 compressor and console EQ and tube DI all in one box; it doesn't get much better. Only seen light use in a clean studio environment, lovingly maintained, and was just recently opened and re-tubed with low noise JJ's and tube-damper rings for incredibly low microphonics. The unit is very low noise and clean and huge sounding, no matter what you put in there; but I have put in really good new tubes. Very linear frequency response as well, and all the controls do exactly what they should. The compressor section actually gives you more options than a traditional 1176 ever could wtih a 1:1 (soft bypass) and 2:1 ratio option and other tweaks, and is actually quieter than a real 1176. All transformer coupled in and out, and each module can be linked or individually accessed from the back (as a separate preamp/EQ and an 1176, or together as one channel strip). It just doesn't get much better. Ships to the USA only due to the size and weight of the box, comes with 2 sets of rack screws and washers, and original USA IEC power cord.
