April 4th, 1985, Prod Number: 44I purchased this cream-colored American Made Gibson new at a guitar store in Ridgewood, NJ (Victors House of Music) back in 1985. It was ordered but not picked up by the customer due to an original discoloring of the coating in a spot or two during manufacturing (see photos). It is beautiful, kept in case and in closet for nearly 30 years. Brought out to play less than a dozen times (I have 9 other guitars and guitar is not my main instrument). I have neither cleaned, dusted, polished nor even changed the strings in half those many years (bad me). Can you give a good home to a solid, made in U.S.A. Custom Shop Original Gibson? Needs just a little tender loving care to keep this thing going up in price. Good investment – great guitar. Enjoy! A few small scratches on bottom of guitar but overall body is very good (see pictures).
