Much like the Custom 22's we've all come to know and love, this S2 Custom 22 delivers 22 frets of pure rocking goodness with that warmth and sweetness that comes from the semi-hollow build. It shreds, it dive bombs, it soars, it sizzles, but it can also sound pretty, smooth, rich, and warm - you get the picture. The Custom 22 SH is for the player that's looking to get tasty at every turn and won't stand for anything getting in their way. The new 85/15 'S' pickups sound strikingly like the 85/15's included in the more expensive CORE lineup to help get you as close as humanly possible to a $4,000+ sound without breaking the bank. With laser beam accuracy, the S2 Custom 22 SH is one of the most affordable shredtastic axes on the market. This guitar is more than capable of tearing apart any stage or studio session you've got booked. The tone is full and white hot. Item Details The Custom 22 is a classic workhorse guitar. Known for its exceptional clarity and warm midrange, the S2 Custom 22 Semi-Hollow has been updated here with a chambered mahogany/maple body and f-hole, giving this vintage-inspired guitar a classic look and outstanding resonance. Appointments include the patented PRS tremolo system, new 85/15 'S' treble and bass pickups, and a push/pull coil tap on the tone control for versatile, alive vintage tone. The S2 line of guitars from PRS is manufactured in the US and is offered at a truly affordable price point. Beyond that, this line of guitars uses some of the very same components found on their more expensive models such as the nut, jack assembly, fret wire and ergonomic electronic knobs.
