For sale is a used PRS S2 Custom 24 with a beautiful transparent red flame maple top.  The PRS Custom 24 needs no introduction, and the S2 version of it has been widely reviewed and praised.  If you’re not familiar with these instruments, take a few minutes to browse YouTube where you’ll find everything from demonstration videos to a tour of the Maryland PRS factory explaining how the company was able to offer the American-made S2 guitars at the price they did. This instrument is in good used condition.  It has a few dings in the finish, which I have tried to capture in the pictures.  Fortunately, the front has only one significant mark, which I have made sure is visible in multiple pictures, allowing you to consider it fairly.  The maple cap (unlike the Asian-made SE line, these guitars have a thick maple cap, not a veneer) is nicely flamed, with different sections popping more or less depending on the light and angle of viewing.  My pictures really don’t do it justice, but I think I least captured the presence of figuring on the entire guitar top. The guitar has been cleaned and is set up with Elixir medium strings.  The frets and fretboard are in good condition.  A tremolo arm is included, as pictured. The guitar comes with a PRS gig bag, which is pretty good by the standards of manufacturer offerings.  It won’t match the protection of something like a Mono M80, but it’s better than what I’ve seen from Gibson or Fender. This is an excellent guitar, and I think a used PRS S2 offers one of the best values available for an American guitar.  I am only selling this guitar because I got another PRS, and can’t afford to keep both of them. The guitar will ship with full insurance.
