-The Real Deal- Vintage Fender 1959 Tweed Deluxe Narrow Panel Tube Guitar Amp 5E3 NOT A REISSUE! Painted black in the sixties, otherwise, mostly as made. Looks like the original speaker, transformers, electronics, tweed, etc. Everything that matters is there; the expert opinion: IT IS ALL ORIGINAL! The Paint seems like it wants to naturally fall off without much damage to the tweed (If that's your thing); Looks to me as if: The paint has (ironically) kept much of the tweed pretty well intact ! ;-) Grounded three-prong power cord has been added for safety. "Death Cap" removed, but will be included, along with the original power cord. One pre-amp tube shield missing. New Matched Power Tubes - updated as shown. This amp has been respectfully serviced by one of the best vintage amp experts in the USA. Other than the grounded power plug, no unnecessary components were replaced. More than once I have had buyers contact me after the sale to get connected because the amp sounds so good... I tend to find and restore vintage Fender amps to working condition, nothing is ever replaced unless absolutely necessary. "I Like it the way it is!' This amp is currently ready to Gig!
Oh, and in case I forgot to mention it... It sounds spectacular to me! Tone heaven! If you are looking for great sound, this amp is it! Not a closet queen, this is a great vintage amp that was played all through the '60's!
