Here is a deal- a Custom Shop for cheaper than you could buy some of the new American series Teles!There are a couple chips in the finish, but if it were made today- they'd just call it a relic. Both chips are pictured. The bird's eye maple neck is the most comfortable and good looking neck I've ever played. If you are familiar with custom shop Fender instruments you know this is a steal- it is priced to sell quickly. The certificate of authenticity has disappeared and there is minimal case candy included. It is legit, there is no doubt. If it doesn't sell quickly- I'll work on obtaining a certificate from the custom shop myself, though I would have to raise the price once it is obtained. The pick guard seems to be a 4-ply aged white pearl, very rare! It will ship in a generic hard-shell case, but it is not the original.Because of these factors, the guitar is priced very low- hurry because it won't last. I've decided that I'd rather have a custom shop strat, but can't afford one before selling this. It is without question, the highest quality instrument I've ever played, and it instantly made me like my Standard American and Mexican fenders a little less- so beware.
