Up for sale is a beautiful, custom-made Russian Domra instrument. It’s handmade by one of the best Russian instrument makers, Nikolai Mukhin. This instrument is brand new and was built in January 2017. The domra is made of aged, highest-quality, premium woods – the body is made of aged, naturally dried (not kiln-dried) wave maple; the body top is resonant spruce; the neck is black rosewood, and the fretboard is made of ebony. The bridge is made of real ebony, with natural bone insertion.
This instrument has a has a loud, open and bright timbre with lot's of high frequencies and you can definitely use it for study, participate to the orchestras or perform at your solo concerts. I've seen a lot's of guys who love when Domra sounds like this one. If you are looking for a "bright" sounding instrument with "bell" like sound qualities - then search no more, this one will be your dream instrument. As you may know, even if wooden musical instruments has exact same look/same construction and even if 2 similar looking instruments are taken from "one run" - it still can sound different from each other.
All instruments that we sell are chosen and selected by maestro Alexander Tsygankov himself (my dad, who is 'People's artist of the Russian Federation and a professor at Gnesin's Academy of Music), and me personally...My dad is always auditioning our instruments prior we put it on Ebay and I'm very picky when it comes to construction quality as I'm dealing with production of high-end boutique custom electric guitars for all of my life. So you get that double control)) Send me a message if you have any questions about this beautiful Domra.
