Selling an original 1969 Gibson SG Standard Electric guitar.
The guitar features the original finish, Original frets and original electronics. Its a great players guitar. The Vibrola was Converted to stop tailpiece in the 70's at this time the tuners were Replaced with Schallers. The knobs are genuine 70's Gibson.
This is a one owner instrument and has been lovingly played for the last 48 years. The guitar has a tone to die for!Cosmetically the guitar is in decent used condition for a guitar of this age. it does show a lot of normal wear such as some nicks and scratches and a lot of finish wear. This includes finish checking and wear marks and missing finish. (please see pictures for details). Its a true rellic. The guitar also has the tipical SG crack in the body at the tone control cavity. This has been stable and like this for years. Please see pictures.
The guitar plays well amazingly well and is a joy to play.
Guitar comes with a deluxe generic case.
