This Flamenco guitar was made in the 1970's. It is in very good condition. No cracks or mechanical defects. Some light finish wear. Made by Juan Ramirez Pimentel of Mexico. He is not connected in ANY WAY with the Pimentels that make guitars out of New Mexico! Please take note of that because this confuses many people. Juan studied in Spain, with Romanillos, before coming back to Mexico to make his guitars.These guitars are flat out amazing and it is only the fact that Senor Pimentel never sold internationally that his guitars remain unknown. These guitars should be selling for no less than $2500, and very possibly double that. IMHO they are tremendous guitars. This from someonewho has played all of the "big name' Flamenco and classical guitar makers, and having owned over 75 collectible guitars at one time!Comes with original 1970's caseSpruce Top. Beautiful Orange finish. 660 mm scale. But plays very easily for a longer scaled "big gun" guitar.2 3/16ths wide at the nut, but plays easily for a wider neckLow Flamenco action (2.6 mm)Dark Palo Santo or Palo Escrito back and sides.Light and powerful, but yet sweet and lyrical.
