We have owned this piano for about 10 years. 3 kids have learned to play on it. Just wish they had learned to love playing on it, but you can't teach that.Chickering Concert Grand Piano. Almost 9 feet long from keyboard to the far back, so you need some space to display it.Sound board, strings, pedals, and everything all work fine. We have had a piano tuner come to the home a half dozen times and he always remarks at how beautifully the piano sounds and how wonderfully it stays in tune.I was told this piano dates from the 1870's, but do not know for sure. The finish is glossy black and there are imperfections due to its age, but nothing out of character. The keys all look original except for one that has a slightly yellowed appearance and is likely plastic that has aged. One key has the front chipped as well, but otherwise they are all in good working order.Happy to ship if you know a company willing to do it. Cost to do so will be yours of course. Local movers charge around $200-$300.Any questions? Feel free to ask. Are local and wish to inspect? That is fine too.
