For sale is my beloved Jazzmaster, made in Japan in 2004.This is a really beautiful guitar, set up perfectly. I have upgraded the bridge to a staytrem, the correct radius to the fretboard which does make a difference to how it feels and is in my opinion a million times better than the stock jazzmaster or mustang bridge.I have also installed a fender buzz stop behind the bridge that not only does what it says on the tin but due to the sharper angle and slight increase of tension of the strings over the bridge improves sustain and STOPS the strings jumping off the saddles as does occasionally happens with the mustang bridge and I found happened constantly with the jazzmaster bridge. The strings never jumped off the saddles of the staytrem, but I installed the buzz stop more for sustain than anything else.I also took out the stock jap jazzmaster pickups which are rubbish in my opinion and installed a couple of Jess Loureiro 'original' jazzmaster pickups, hand wound with exact pre-cbs JM spec which are excellent and really make this guitar great. On top of all of that, this is a JM66B. Blocks and binding on the neck. I have no idea how rare these are, if at all. But you don't see many of them for sale. I don't anyway. The guitar is in pretty good well played condition, a bit of paint chipped on the lower offset bit of the body, see pictures. And some finish cracks and small chips over the body that are difficult to photograph but il do my best and a few small dings on the neck and headstock, but over all for a well played much loved guitar pretty good. Comes in/with a hard case. Not fender or jazzmaster specific, but a nice case that the guitar fits snugly in.I have recently levelled the frets so the action is lovely low and fast. Any questions please askI may be interested in a trade, just message me
